Fugue Jekyll and Hyde Let Me Hear you Smile Natural Look, The Show Me Where The Good Times Are Too Frazzled To EatFugue
A woman is found wandering in Chicago, her feet blistered and bloodied. Doctors at the hospital where she is taken immediately recognize this as a symptom of the 'fugue' state of amnesia, where the victim is literally running away from an intolerable memory. A young psychiatrist is assigned to her case. Clinic's rules allow him twenty-one days ('three lousy weeks'' to work with her. If there is no improvement, she will be sent to a long term care facility. He is running away from his own demons - a mistake he made with a patient early in his practice which had a devastating effect on his life. Because the woman has no past and no future, she is in remarkably good spirits, chipper and carefree except when the young doctor starts to jog her memory. The closer he gets to piecing together the puzzle of her life and the terrible thing that made her want to forget everything, the stronger is her urge to run. But his fear is that if she remembers -- will he be repeating the mistake he made? To muddle the waters, he is falling in love with his patient. This play is about loss.

Synopsis:
The difficulties of love and marriage, through youth, menopause, and senility is the theme of this Thuna and Cauley play, which does not leave out the flashbacks of pubescence as Hannah, the girl who is asked to face all these problems is sometimes ten years old, sometimes forty-eight, and sometimes sixty-nine. At one stage she proposes to leave her husband, but her brother, Willie Farmer intervenes, and then comes the flashback to Hannah in her youth, and of love and the ideal of marriage being at high-tide, growing from birds and bees discovery to the third act, in which Hannah flashes forward to Neil, her husband, and his retirement. The sense of entrapment for both Neil and Hannah, and the infinite postponement of Hannah's leaving (and by the end of the play, it is Neil who is the restless one), looms inevitably and tragically in this mild, sometimes surprisingly stimulating comedy.

Synopsis:
The scenes are set in the Park Avenue apartment of Reedy and Bernie Harris, and the glamorous office of Contessa Cosmetics, Inc., where Reedy is advertising director. At the moment, Reedy finds herself involved in a power play with Malcolm, her assistant who was hired by Contessa's eccentric owner, the Countess. Reedy is faced with another problem when Jane, her husband's former flame, arrives for the dinner party - and takes over. She is a compulsive homemaker who likes nothing better than to cook, clean and be a housewife. It also seems she would like nothing better than Bernie. Feeling that she is losing her job to Malcolm and her husband to Jane, Reedy decides to quit the job she loves and devote herself to being a full-time housewife. But, on the one hand, Malcolm is unmasked by the Countess as a spy for a competitor, and is fired; and, on the other, Bernie reveals that the last thing in the world he wants is to have her hang around the house the way his mother did. Happily, Reedy can have her job - and her husband.

Synopsis:
his musical suggested by Moliere's uproarious The Imaginary Invalid transplants the story to New York's Lower East Side in 1913. This is a love story between Aaron, a curmudgeonly hypochondriac who is living to die, and Bella, his flamboyant second wife who is dying to live while there are still some good times to be had. The melodic score burst with waltzes, tangos, ragtime, razz ma tazz vaudeville and show stopping numbers as Aaron tries to force his daughter to marry a nitwit doctor so he can get free medical attention. Aided by an outrageous set of supporting comic characters, Aaron plays dead to find out who really loves him. This hilarious evening of farce concludes with the hypochondriac becoming a doctor of medical science.
