Daniel Thurman's play 'The 40 Year Twitch' starring Paula Wilcox, Anne Reid and Philip Jackson was broadcast on Radio 4 in June 2011 to rave reviews. It featured as Critics' Choice in The Independent, The Daily Telegraph ('Delicious comedy beautifully performed by a fine cast'), The Mail on Sunday ('Beautifully observed comedy') and The Radio Times ('Beautifully observed moments and tremendously witty dialogue that finds rich humour in the seemingly mundane'). The play was also chosen to appear on Radio 4?s Pick of the Week ('Daniel Thurman provided his characters with tragi-comic profundity'). His first radio play, 'Those Hard to Reach Places' was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in October 2009. Starring Anne Reid, Geoffrey Whitehead and Janet Dibley, the play was critic's choice in The Independent, Time Out and The Times.
