Apples And Pairs
Synopsis:
This is a play about twins and harmony. Two sets of twins are separated - a French baby and an English baby are brought up in France; and the other French Baby and the other English baby are brought up in England. the play explores the relationship between England and France, including a historical scene during the Napoleonic wars and a modern exchange trip between twinned towns. the wider theme of suspicion about foreigners is also exposed. there is lots of humour, a fascinating plot to unwind, and the concluding message "love conquers all" leads to a happy ending.
