Lorraine Cushnie and Joanne Griffiths met as two newly qualified teachers in 1996, they developed a strong bond and have been mentors, colleagues and friends ever since. Lorraine has a wealth of experience directing productions and getting students into drama schools. Joanne has completed an MA in screenwriting but her passion is theatre writing. Combining their skills and experience they hope to produce interesting, original work. Lorraine and Jo have worked with many young people over the last twenty years, as lecturer, head of department and workshop facilitator. Some of those young people are very talented and go on to top drama schools. After graduating, many of the young people find themselves out of work, unable to get an agent etc etc. What Two42 theatre hopes to do is work with recent graduates giving them a platform for performing in regional venues across the country.
