Heather is a founder member of the performance collective Shunt, and has devised and performed for all of the company shows, she has been a theatre-maker and actress for over 15 years. In 2009 she wrote her first short play, ANYBODY THERE which was performed at the ICA as part of the Shunt curation. Her first full-length theatre script, RAIN, had a rehearsed reading at the People Show Studios in 2012. In 2013 her radio play CLOSURE was short listed for the Actors Guild Radio Play award and in 2014 she completed 2 new theatre scripts; SEE, an exploration of loss and alcoholism, and ATROPHY, a play about hunger strikes and the importance of the right to protest. In 2015 she wrote CORETTA, Alice & JACKIE, which was presented as a work in progress at NT Shed as part of Sphinx Theatre's Heroines festival, and co-produced an industry showcase of ATROPHY with director Russell Lucas. She is currently working on her first screenplay, DIALYSIS.
