Gary Walker is an actor/writer currently living in San Francisco. Born and raised in rural southwest Michigan, he knew early on that he was destined for big city life. After graduating from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelors of Music in Musical Theater, he set off for New York City where he discovered his passion for solo performance. Mentored by Victoria Bussert, Janiece Kelley-Kitely and Scott Plate, the three most influential teachers during his time at Baldwin Wallace, he was able to find his unique voice in storytelling, and with the help of David Ford at The Marsh in San Francisco, was able make that voice heard. Favorite regional acting credits include Alan in EQUUS, Paul in A CHORUS LINE, Ronald in THE ALTRUISTS, and Edgar in the Ohio Premier of BAT BOY, THE MUSICAL. Gary comes from a family of storytellers, a gift his dad has perfected over the years and unwittingly handed down to him. He thrives on the energy thats unparalleled when alone on stage, armed only with the anecdotes of your own experiences, feeling the electricity of the audience as you dip and twist and bound through the stories of your life. GREEN EYES, JUST LIKE YOU AND ME is his first solo show, and is just a sliver of the many stories he hopes to bring to life in the years to come.
