Absolutely Dead
Synopsis:
It's the rocky coast of Maine and there's a Nor'easter blowing like stink. The causeway's flooded and the local sheriff is stranded on the mainland - of course. The phones are down and who would ever expect cell phones to work in this part of the country? Does it sound like a good night for a dinner party with a lot of laughs from a boisterous, tipsy actress? Does it sound like a good night for a murder - or two - or? People are dying and it really isn't funny any more. This two-act murder mystery has its share of laughs leading up to a thrilling finale that will keep your audience guessing and on the edges of their seats until the absolute end.
Notes:
Single set, 2-act murder mystery with humor. Suitable for families And children capable of trying to figure out A mystery.

Aftershock
Synopsis:
AFTERSHOCK, by Michael Walker, is a four-character (2m, 2w), single set, two-act thriller. The two victims of a tragic car accident have moved to a new town and built an imaginary life to hide from the past. An investigative writer finds them and terrorizes them, a mother and teenage daughter, until a much darker story and truth about the accident is revealed. The setting is the living room and dining room of a modern house in the present day.

AFTERSHOCK is A four-character (2m, 2w), single set, two-act thriller. The play was workshopped in 2009 by the Penobscot Theatre Company And presented As A reading in the Northern Writes festival of new plays.

Cold Hearts
Synopsis:
COLD HEARTS by Michael Walker is a drama. Peter and Mary are a wealthy Manhattan couple who have a daughter, Cassie, a professor. She is sexually involved with two men: Richard, who went to college with her father; and Simon, a young man who recently was her student. Richard is a wealthy, powerful, dangerous older man. Simon is a destitute, brash, leftist-radical, reminiscent of the 1960's, who appears sexually impotent, possibly gay, and attracted to abusive, dominant people. Cassie is addicted to the men and the power. (COLD HEARTS was previously titled REFLECTIONS.)

COLD HEARTS is A six-character (3M, 3W), two-act drama. It takes place on An open unit set with the suggestion of three living spaces: Richard's living room; Peter And Mary's dining/living room; And Simon's Apartment bedroom. Franklin And The Ladies
Synopsis:
Play follows Franklin D. Roosevelt and the women in his life. The women include his Mother, Sara; his wife, Eleanor; his daughter, Anna; and his two lovers, Missy LeHand and Lucy Mercer. The play examines the love affairs and the affect they have on Eleanor. It also traces Eleanor's rise to power.
