Synopsis:
Presumption captures a young couple at the moment when they realise that their relationship has become comfortable rather than passionate, habitual rather than dramatic. Against the backdrop of an insignificant quarrel, they examine their relationship and their willingness or not to accept its limitations. Third Angel's work is always visually interesting and here the mental exertions are mirrored by the performers' physical efforts as they struggle on and off the stage with an ever-increasing collection of domestic detritus. The piece is likely to resonate with young adult audiences.
