Delval Divas

Synopsis:
StElla Wild, MBA, Rosemary Adams, JD/MBA, Linda Robertson, M.D.,Ph.D., and Beth Ziegler, MBA, have some things in common. Besides being educated, successful, professional women, they also share the same address. It isn't a swanky high rise apartment building or a beachfront condo - they reside at the Delaware Valley Federal Correctional Facility, a low-level security prison for white and "pink" collar criminals. With the Warden in one pocket and their cell block guard in another, the "Divas" continue to indulge their lavish and luxurious lifestyles until Beth is prematurely released and a murderess moves in to her place. Adding insult to injury, the Department of Corrections has announced its intention to close the Delval facility due to mismanagement and relocate inmates to the less-than-glamorous Black Rock Federal Prison. How do the Divas save Deval, solve a murder and reunite on a Roman holiday? Who ever said that crime doesn't pay?

Foolish Fishgirls and the Pearl

Foolish Fishgirls and the Pearl
Former deep sea divas, Coral and Oceana, didnt exactly have the happily ever after storybook lives that the two erstwhile mermaids dreamed of when they rescued their handsome young sailors and swam ashore thirty years ago. Talk about unhappy endings! Corals sailor, Fernando, took off with her treasure and returned home to his wife and four kids in Venezuela! Oceanas dreamboat, Hans, hit the road with her treasure to live happily ever after with his boyfriend, Juergen, in Norway! When Coral and Oceana learn of a mermaid rescue involving a young Coast Guard Lieutenant whose car went off a nearby bridge, they dive into action to find the young, innocent mermaid and warn her about the perils and pitfalls of falling in love with mortal men who abscond with your gems, leaving you penniless with a broken heart and two skinny legs. Helped by their cousin Marina who was unceremoniously dumped by the Captain when her treasure finally ran out, the trio of middle age former sea goddesses try to convince the young mermaid, Pearl, to hightail it back to the sea. But love, being what it is, gives Pearl some ideas of her own. Foolish Fishgirls and The Pearl is a feisty fairytale about a mermaids life on dry land after true love is found, lost and found again. And, like Coral, Oceana and Marina, you may find that happily ever after is closer than you think!

Hogwash

Synopsis:
Louie Baxter is an incorrigible troublemaker and Mary Baxter doesn't know where to turn when Louie is expelled from the Sunny Hill Day Care Center for a variety of behavioral offenses, not the least of which is smoking in the bathroom and setting off false fire alarms. With her husband out of town, Mary has no alternative but to take Louie to work on the most important day of her professional career. Called out of her office for an emergency meeting, Mary returns only to find that the office building has caught on fire and Louie has disappeared. In the corporate world, it may be appropriate on occasion to take one's child to work. However, Mary learns the hard way that it is probably best to leave her elderly mother-in-law, Mary Louise Louie Baxter at home. All's well that end's well. Not only does she save Mary's professional career as an up and coming advertising and marketing executive, Louie also manages to snag a beau, star in a TV commercial, solve a manufacturing quality control crisis and receive an all-expense paid vacation to San Juan. All in an afternoon's work. Although a comedy, this play focuses on serious issues involving care for the elderly.

Seniors Of the Sahara

Seniors Of the Sahara
Sylvia Goldberg, a respectable retired New Jersey school teacher, brings home more than just souvenirs upon returning from her grandson's wedding in Israel. Sylvie's troubles begin when she realizes that the old teapot she purchased at an outdoor market is actually a priceless relic containing a geriatric genie 'Eugene' with a bad back and a penchant for vodka and V8. Keeping Eugene a secret from her three best friends, Mabel, thelma and Fannie, proves to be nearly as difficult as protecting herself from Eugene's former master who follows Sylvie home and threatens her at knifepoint. Be careful what you wish for Sylvie Goldberg! You never know, it might come true. Seniors of the Sahara is a magical romantic comedy for seniors and 'juniors' of all ages.
