Alison Weiss was born and raised in Manhattan and discovered the thrills of live Theater as a young girl running around Broadway houses while her lighting designer father was in tech week. Her ten-minute playFight Dreams has been performed at Ensemble Studio Theater, HERE Arts Center, and many Theaters and colleges around the country. Her one-act play the Statue appeared in the New York International Fringe Festival. She now lives in Chicago, where she writes, performs, directs, and teaches for Theaters and improv and sketch comedy companies around town. She can be reached at alisonweiss.com.
