Good Grief

Synopsis:
Ever felt your therapist was more messed up than you? What drives needy and unstable characters to become counsellors? Newsroom

Synopsis:
There's conflict in the newsroom of traditional Australian newspaper The Heartland Herald as media giant Global Corp moves to 'sex up and dumb down' its latest acquisition. Driven by the need to bolster advertiser dollars and curry favour with a government at war with a noun, Global Corp trouble-shooter Phillip Banks demands a 'lighter, brighter' product. That means more celebrities, sex, and shopping. Uncompromising Heartland editor Geoff Browning and his crew have other ideas and they're not giving up without a fight. A wicked snapshot of the personal, commercial and political agendas shaping headlines in a post 9-11 newsroom.
