Born in London's East End, Linda is a polymath. Playwright, novelist, scientist. She began writing for the stage in the late 1990's. Her fist play DUST AT MIDNIGHT, won the Writers Guild of Great Britain Theatre Showcase Award. Subsequent plays DISPARATE BODIES, DIAMOND (a musical) and BLOODLINE have been performed in the West End and on the Fringe. DIAMOND was adapted for BBC Radio 4. Her theatre company WIT (Women In Theatre) showcases roles for the older woman. Linda has recently written a children's novel, THE OONFORD DETECTIVE AGENCY, the first part of a planned trilogy.She has also written history books, one on the famous Columbia Road Flower Market and one on Shoreditch (The Shoreditch Tales). Along the way Linda has been Chair of Amnesty International UK and sits on the Board of several organizations involved with a diverse range of artistic and community based works.
