Backseat of My Car (and other safe spaces), The

Synopsis:
Greg Wohead's short theatrical piece takes you on a journey, narratively and imaginatively, as you step inside his car and allow yourself to be directed as a central character in his remembered moment. You travel together through this memory, catching a glimpse of exciting, awkward and nervous first love, forests and beautiful vistas, creating a secret, intimate, nothing and yet everything moment together. This is a short one-on-one theatrical experience in the front seat of a parked car, you play the role of the girl in his remembered teenage romance; mostly you are listening, but sometimes you are given lines or instructions to follow, to participate in the piece.

Hurtling

Synopsis:
I have a message for you from the past. Ok, it's a message from this morning, so it may be the recent past. But it's still the past. This is an invitation to remember a previous version of yourself, to imagine a future version and to wonder who that makes you now. Hurtling is an off-site performance for one with a cassette player and headphones that is remade based on location every time it's performed. It's a glimpse of a fleeting moment as it zooms past; an attempt to grasp at a slippery present.

Notes:
A previous version of Hurtling was supported by Waleslab, National Theatre Wales artist development initiative.

Welcome to Greg's bedroom in Mesquite, Texas, 1998. the Savage Garden CD is on repeat, there's a pile of dirty laundry in the corner and he can't stop thinking about Sara. In this solo performance Greg tells you-from the perspective of a geeky teenager-the true story of the night he took a chance. I like the way you wear your hair is a conversation with a past version of yourself. It's about stomach butterflies, private thoughts and teenage crushes.

Ted Bundy Project, The

Synopsis:
A solo performance that began with an interest in Ted Bundy, the American serial killer who confessed to the murders of around 30 young women between 1974 and 1978. In November 2012, Greg stumbled upon the confession tapes of Ted Bundy, the American serial killer, rapist and necrophile. He couldn't stop listening. The Ted Bundy Project was born from a curiosity about the nature of charm, the label of 'monster' and the tension between attraction and repulsion. Greg has a wig, a bit of rope, a few YouTube videos and Bundy's confession tapes. Come hear what he has to say to you.
