Road Home, The: Re-Membering America
Synopsis:
When writer/actor Marc Wolf found himself on the West Coast on September 11, 2001, he decided to rent a car, take to the road and talk to people as he made his way home to New York. the Road Home: Re-Membering America is the story of Wolf's long drive across the country and the people he interviewed along the way: a soundtrack of life and fear, history and hope, during a time of chaos and questions. A world premiere from the Obie Award and Helen Hayes Award winning writer/performer of Another American: Asking and Telling. In the Road Home: Re-Membering America, Wolf affectionately portrays 20 different characters who each express their feelings on the world at that point in time. His real-life characters have surprising views on patriotism, foreigners, New York City and the government. As he collected more and more stories, Marc Wolf began to find the many threads that delicately weave our nation together in this fragile time
