Synopsis: | A middle-class, middle-aged woman invites a drifter into her home. Power-struggles ensue. Tango and desire combine in this suspenseful play from 1970s Chile. Paper Flowers is a lyrical analysis of the differences in styles of life of the poor and the affluent middle classes. It examines the different approaches to life and death, survival, sentimentality, pity, reality and wishful thinking. | |||||
