Chilcot
E15
Chilcot
Tasked with investigating Britain's role in the Iraq War, the evidence presented to the Chilcot Inquiry was devastating and stark. Drawing together testimonies from leading political players with the forgotten voices of Iraqi refugees, veterans and military families against war - this pertinent and bold piece of documentary theatre explores the accountability of those who have power over us.

E15
Synopsis:
'We want social housing, not social cleansing'. On the 19th October 2013, 29 single mums at Stratford's Focus E15 hostel received eviction notices. Faced with the choice between skyrocketing rent or being forcibly relocated from their children, the mothers united to take action. And so began a campaign that placed these young women on the frontline and forced housing back onto the national agenda. From the Houses of Parliament, to the streets of Newham, this piece of documentary theatre is adapted solely from the real-life testimonies of the most prominent and marginalized voices of the political spectrum - providing a truthful retelling of the most prominent yet sidelined issue in the UK. As Britain faces ever-increasing cuts to welfare and social benefits, E15 explores our relationship with housing in 2015 and how one group of young mothers refused to be marginalized. This is the beginning of the end of the social housing crisis.
