Synopsis:
Based on a true story about a Japanese poet/sculptor, Kotaro Takamura and his wife Chieko Takamura. Two artists, two lovers, and two historical figures in a single journey. A searching and passionate exploration into the nature of love, intimacy and survival. Kotaro and Chieko, a man and a woman who went through dramatic social change as artists in Japan around 1910.
