Jenny Yates has been writing fiction for several years and is a successful short story writer. She became interested in playwriting when she joined Oldham Coliseum's playwriting group. After giving up her day job and moving to Cumbria, Jenny joined North Cumbria Scriptwriters. Jenny was pleased to have her first play, The Person Without, produced at the 24:7 theatre festival in Manchester, July 2009.
