Amanda Yeo is a playwright, author, and pop culture enthusiast. Currently studying BA Communication (Writing and Cultural Studies)! B Laws at UTS, she is still growing up in Western Sydney and has been writing for as long as she can remember - so since about 1994. She had her first play performed at Short and Sweet when she was 16, and since then has performed her work at 2012 Sydney Writer's Festival event Moving People, Bankstown's 2011 Youth Week event Own It!, and on FBI Radio's All the Best segment. She has also been published in the TinyBook of TinyStories: Vol 1, UTS Writers'Anthology 2011: The Life You Chose and that Chose You, and Westside New Series Vol 2: On Western Sydney. Amanda enjoys comic books, action movies, and video games, and is embarrassed by rude words.
