Originally from Singapore, Marcus Yi is a writer/director and performer based in New York. He has created work in Singapore, Atlanta and New York and is the artistic director of Living Room Theater. He has worked on over 100 productions and his recently created works include Micro Shrimp The Musical, 29x/y, Pretty Little Mouth, The Procedure, The Ephemeral Lightness of Dreams: the dream plays, Thicker Than Water: the blood plays and Baby Baby!. His work has been produced by Living Room Theater, ticket2eternity and Modern Day Griot. His work has been seen at the Midtown International Theater Festival, Planet Connections Theater Festivity, Fresh Fruit Festival and the Midwinter Madness Theater Festival.

Synopsis:
A theater collage piece in 29 parts

Notes:
This play was written in 29 days in the 29th year of the playwright's life. It was also started on the 2nd day of September. The different parts may be performed in a different sequence except for #1, #2 and #29. The number of actors can range from 4-29 depending on the needs of the artists. As the theatre is a collaborative work, I invite all designers and creative artists to bring their own approach when it comes to working on this play. Feel free to experiment.
